So apparently I fell off the face of the Buzznet planet.  I got a rehearsal space and I've been spending all of my time in there and hiding in my room reading, trying to escape the hurricane.

Anyway, I got sort-of-tagged by Jenrrray to do this random song thing.  I don't use iTunes or have an iPod, so I'm just picking some songs from my phone.

"(Åh) När Ni Tar Saken I Egna Händer" - After Dark


This song is nothing short of amazing.  It's from Melodifestivalen 2007, the Swedish precursor to the Eurovision Song Contest.  After Dark is a well-known drag queen from Sweden and I don't speak enough Swedish to know what the fuck this song is about, but it's great nonetheless.

"Deanne the Arsonist" - Atreyu


This was one of my breakup songs from my last ex.  "Kiss my fist, taste the floor, tired of your games, FUCK OFF GOODBYE!"  Sweet, sweet bitterness.


"Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" - Fall Out Boy


This song is constantly in my head.  I don't know why.  I have a love/hate thing with Fall Out Boy.  I try to hate them, they try to make me love them.  I have dreams with Pete Wentz in them a couple of times a month.  I don't understand why and it kind of scares me.


"Leave a Clean Camp and a Dead Fire" - Juno

"You don't have to be strong if you don't want to be free.  When you turn off the alarm, I turn on you and I.  I turn on my disease.  GO!"  Truer words have never been said.


"Sexy Ladies" - Justin Timberlake


Whenever I hear this song, I get this amazing mental movie of my favorite dorky fanboy slash couple.  One of them is doing a striptease for the other one and it's pretty much the best thing ever.  Bear in mind that my mental movies are usually in cartoons, which makes for even more lolz and awesomeness.

"I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" - My Chemical Romance


My love for this song knows no bounds.  I do the most amazing karaoke version of it ever, involving lots of screaming and crawling.  I'm sort of a karaoke god, you see...


"Hål Om Mej" - Nanne Grönvall


Nanne.  OMG.  Nanne!!  She causes me to spazz out in full faggy fanboy glory!  She is a crazy Swedish elfin freak of nature and I love her sososmuch!!  This song is about hexes and things and somewhere on the internet there is a video of her with Vulcan ears on.  <3<3<3


"Just a Girl" - No Doubt


I may or may not sing very loudly to this in my car.  I also may or may not have a spot-on Gwen Stefani face that I also practice during aforementioned singing.


"Time to Dance" - Panic! at the Disco


It's a good song.  Good lyrics, good beats, good melodies, good for singing in the shower and driving my roommate crazy.


"Girl O'Clock" - The Dismemberment Plan


This song sums up college for me, I'd say.  Just change the title to "Boy O'Clock," heh.  Plus, the video is from their last show in Seattle that I was at and it was fucking amazing.  *sigh* I miss this band.

I'm feeling lazy, so I'm just doing ten songs.  Sorry to disappoint all two of you that will actually read this, ha ha.  Oh, and um...*tag* whoever feels like doing this.
